Conservation Commission Meeting

The Conservation Commission will hold its regular meeting Wednesday, October 18, 2023. We do not have any formal documents to review. We will be discussing the Certificate of Compliance issued by the state for the solar project listed as 0 Rear Somers Rd. We will also review mapping on two proposed building lots, one on Scantic Rd  and the other on Hollow Rd. We have not yet received a formal filing on either lot. A possible violation of the Wetland Protection Act was recently reported to the commission.  The alleged violation will also be discussed.

The Glendale Solar Project has not yet filed an NOI with the Commission. We have not had any contact since an abutters list was sent to us late summer. We will keep the public updated regarding any new documents from the company.
