SVWD Board Opening

The Scantic Valley Water Commission is looking to fill an associate commissioner
position within the board.

The role of the SVWC is to oversee the management and operation of the Scantic
Valley Water District, its wells and the properties it serves in town.

Responsibilities include but not limited to;

● Attend monthly SVWC meetings at the town house
● Review and approve expenses and invoices
● Calculate annual water usage invoices for billing
● Set policies and procedures as needed
● Work and assist the water operator as required
● Record meeting minutes and assist in agendas
